Who Pushed the “Mute” Button on Obama’s Eligibility?

Who pushed the “mute” button on Obama’s eligibility?

Bill O’Reilly’s motto is “The spin stops here,” but he won’t touch the eligibility issue

(Sept. 30, 2010) — I am amazed and dismayed as day after day passes with an ineligible person in the office of president. No birth certificate is required to make that determination, yet the media continues to pretend there is “no problem.”  How did the left lock the eligibility issue down so securely that Fox News and their talking heads, supposedly the one place for fair and balanced information among the “main stream” media outlets, has zipped up on the issue? The highly paid Fox entertainers only rarely mention it, and then only to insult the millions (58% by a recent CNN poll), of Americans who say they are not sure Obama was born in the U.S.A., let alone a natural born citizen. These people want a “fair and balanced” discussion, instead they get an attempt at humor at their expense for having the audacity to demand proof of eligibility from the putative president and commander-in-chief.

America being held hostage to the “race card” so completely that THE ONE in power and his many enablers can only be criticized in ways that will not directly remove them from their positions of power, or possibly send them to jail? Those who disapprove of almost everything the Obama regime does, people such as Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin, for example, call those who just want a discussion of “natural born citizen” unflattering names they think will get the best laugh in the rare instance they mention the issue at all. These people will not even discuss the case of an American hero, LTC Terry Lakin, because they fear it will force discussion of Obama’s eligibility, or lack thereof.

Is the possibility of this headline:

“FIRST U.S. AFRICAN-AMERICAN PRESIDENT, TWO YEARS AFTER BEING ELECTED, IS FOUND INELIGIBLE, REMOVED AND SENT TO JAIL!” something they so fear happening that they will are willing to trash the Constitution and forget all objectiveness in their reporting? I send emails to these formally “fair and balanced” entertainers on a regular basis. This one specifically names O’Reilly, but I sent it to my entire list of silenced former reporters.

This is directed to Mr. O’Reilly, but it applies equally to all who refused to debate the most important issue of today, and the one issue that makes every other issue moot until this is brought into the open and completely cleared up.  Mr. O’Reilly, would you please invite a few people, such as Mario Apuzzo and Phil Berg, Commander Charles Kerchner, Sharon Rondeau and/or others who are knowledgeable about the meaning of “natural born citizen” per the U.S.Constitution, for a “fair and balanced” discussion of Obama’s eligibility to be president? Don’t be a pinhead….or a coward, invite them and/or others with knowledge of the Constitution, and the usurpation of the presidency by Obama and his enablers to debate you, Beck, or anyone else……or all of you at the same time if that suits you best, on Obama’s citizenship status and the Constitution. You won’t…either you have been told never to discuss Obama’s eligibility,
or you are completely devoid of any common sense and logic.

Which is it, Bill?

  1. Thomas Morato says:

So many questions, yet so few answers. I can’t speak for all Americans, but believe most are fair minded and forgiving folks. But when these talking heads (spouting a “fair and balanced” slogan) not only evade the issue, but at times ridicule their viewers by labeling and/or calling them names for just asking simple questions to which no answers have come yet… strikes a nerve and infuriates them. By design?

Why has O’Reily and Beck both “gone on record” and stated that BHO was born in Hawaii based on un-authenticated digital images? With all the controversy, do these two know something we don’t or are they just following the script? A script which at all costs keeps the focus on Hawaii and/or a birth location… when in fact, the real issue is BHO’s dual citizenship which prevents him from ever being a natural born citizen.

This goes way beyond a constitutional crisis… its a national security issue. O’Reily, you claim you support our troops… but stop being a pinhead and get behind Lakin’s cause. If you don’t have the guts (or balls) to stand up and defend him, at least bring some non-biased subject matter experts on and have an honest debate on NBC.

  1. The MSM has discussed the issue. Here is what the Wall Street Journal said:

“Obama has already provided a legal birth certificate demonstrating that he was born in Hawaii. No one has produced any serious evidence to the contrary. Absent such evidence, it is unreasonable to deny that Obama has met the burden of proof. We know that he was born in Honolulu as surely as we know that Bill Clinton was born in Hope, Ark., or George W. Bush in New Haven, Conn.”

  2. To those that continue to walk through life with blinder deserve the fruits of their lack of labor. Wake up and do some research. There is overwhelming proof that Obama is not a natural born citizen. Try reading the Constitution for starters. Obama claims on a regular basis he is not eligible for the position. The fact that the now progressive courts have refused to allow the evidence does not determine the truth. The issue is not where he was born but the nationality of his parents. His father was never a US Citizen and his mother gave hers up and no evidence that she ever acquired US Citizenship again. The bc regardless if it is Hawaiian or Kenyan only establishes the true identity of his birth parents. Supposing he was born in Hawaii only makes him a naturalized citizen not a “natural born citizen”. Do yourself a favor and learn the difference.

  3. Re: “The issue is not where he was born but the nationality of his parents.

Answer. NO. The issue is only where he was born. The original meaning of Natural Born used by Americans at the time of the writing of the Constitution referred ONLY to the place of birth. No American writers at the time ever wrote anything that indicated that they had meant “two citizen parents” or that the parents affected Natural Born status at all, and that includes John Jay, whose writings were the same as Adams and Hamilton, referring only to the place of birth.

“Natural born citizen. Persons who are born within the jurisdiction of a national government, i.e. in its territorial limits, or those born of citizens temporarily residing abroad.” — Black’s Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition

That is why such prominent conservative Senators who are also lawyers as Orren Hatch and Lindsay Graham say that a Natural Born Citizen is simply one who was born in the USA:

    Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), said:

“Every child born in the United States is a natural-born United States citizen except for the children of diplomats.” (December 11, 2008 letter to constituent)

Senator Orrin G. Hatch (R-UT), said:

“What is a natural born citizen? Clearly, someone born within the United States or one of its territories is a natural born citizen.” (Senate Judiciary Committee hearing hearing on OCTOBER 5, 2004)

And that also is the reason why Obama’s election was confirmed UNANIMOUSLY by the US Congress (535 members total, one hundred in the Senate and 435 in the House), and that is also why Obama was sworn in by the Chief Justice of the United States. Not one of them believes that the citizenship of Obama’s father affects Natural Born Citizenship status.

Re: “His father was never a US Citizen and his mother gave hers up…”

Obama’s father was not a US citizen, that is true, but it has no effect. Obama’s mother did NOT give up her citizenship, which is well documented by the recent release of her passport records. Obama, for that matter, never became a citizen of Indonesia, as a call to the Indonesian Embassy in Washington will show.

Re: “The bc regardless if it is Hawaiian…”

Obama’s published birth certificate, the Certification of Live Birth, is the official birth certificate of Hawaii, and it is used every year by thousands of people to establish that they were born in the USA. It is accepted for that purpose by both the US State Department and the branches of the military.

    Re; “or Kenyan…’

There is NO Kenyan birth certificate. That has been proven to be a forgery by WND.

Re: “Supposing he was born in Hawaii only makes him a naturalized citizen not a “natural born citizen”. Do yourself a favor and learn the difference.”

It is you who should learn the difference. All US Citizens who were born in the USA are Natural Born Citizens. The original meaning of Natural Born was simply “born in the country.”

  4. While all of what you say is interesting reading it is factually false. The only issue that matters is the Constitution and it is very clear and being born in the USA with one parent does not make you a natural born citizen. READ IT!!!!

  5. Re: “The only issue that matters is the Constitution and it is very clear and being born in the USA with one parent does not make you a natural born citizen. READ IT!!!!”

    Answer: I DID.

There is not a single word in the Constitution that says that the president must have two US citizen parents.

It says NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. So, what does Natural Born Citizen mean? It refers to the place of birth, not to the parents. It means “born in the country.”

Here are the actual words: “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

There is not a word in that paragraph that refers to the parents of the president. Nor is there a word in the Federalist Papers. So, we have to turn to the writings of Jay and Adams and Hamilton and others at the time, and they always used Natural Born to indicate birth in the country. They never used it to refer to the parents.

“Every child born in the United States is a natural-born United States citizen except for the children of diplomats” as Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said. And, he is right. That is why Obama’s election was confirmed unanimously by the US Congress, and it is why he was sworn in by the Chief Justice of the United States.
